Free On-line College Level Courses for Job Seekers
It’s a great idea for any one that is currently unemployed to enroll in a course. First, continued self-improvement and growth is a wonderful thing. Secondly, it can help you when that question comes up in an interview, “So, I see you’ve been unemployed for the last 9 months. What have you been doing?”
“Well, I’m enrolled in a couple college courses. I did this to stay current with technology, but also to stay on top of advancements in our industry…” or something like that.

The only drawback is you do not earn college credit towards a degree. But you still obtain the knowledge, and many courses provide a certificate of completion. Plus you can try them out, and if you don’t like it, just stop going. It’s all on-line.
